[Video] Alice Nine speaks with Imagine TV Network

Ang video na ito ay galing sa Imagine TV Network. Ito ay ang press conference nila para sa Sundown Festival 2012 na naganap noong ika-1 ng Disyembre, 2012. Hindi nakadalo ang lead guitarist na si Hiroto dahil siya ay nasa isang medical treatment sa Japan.

Tora: We are Alice Nine. You are watching..

All: Imagine TV Network!

Tora: I play the rhythm guitar. My name is Tora.

Nao: I play the drums and my name is Nao.

Shou: I am the vocalist, Shou.

Saga: I am the bass player, Saga.

When or how did you discover your talent for music?

Tora: Well, I was influenced by the people who were playing guitar around me; that is why I started playing the guitar. I made progress really quickly and I thought,  "Maybe I have some talent in playing the guitar."

Nao: When I started playing the drums, I had to practice two or three times more compared to others so I did not think I am talented in playing it.

All: *laugh*

Nao: I am not talented. *laugh*

Shou: Well, I don't think of myself being talented like Nao, I feel that I practiced a lot too. I have fun and I am open to new experiences.

Saga; Well, I started playing bass when I was in a band in high school. I do not think I was good at that time. But with this band, I realized almost instantly that. "Yeah I'm pretty talented." (Tora laughs)

Nao: ... and you're popular

Saga: And I'm popular. So I am, definitely so.

What do you think contributed to the success of the band?

Tora: As a band, we have "settling in", I think we've had success, including deciding matters like which member will help to compose songs. We began to have more and more success together as a band. Talking about whether we feel we have "arrived, I feel that it is nice to have some drinking money and be able to find some success.

What contributed to "GEMINI" being the highest ranking album on the Oricon charts?

Shou: Our fans have helped to promote and support us. Even when we did not play at any event,  they were still serious about us. I really think that this is all about the power of our fans who have given us their kind support.

Which is the most special song in your latest album "9"?

Shou: The song "Hello, World" was a poetry reading by Saga and we thought that he really did it well. Usually I am the one who sings or the one "working" with words, but for that song, almost the entire song is Saga's own message.

Where do you get your inspiration to write songs?

Tora:  You can look at inspiration  in a lot of ways, really. There are many times we are simply eating, watching television, or walking outside. Considering all of these, I think that living is about searching somewhere for something, even if you do not know what it is.

Which cosplay character would you like to be?

Saga: Pretty Cure

All: (laugh) What?

Saga: Pretty Cure, a famous Japanese animation. Pretty cure. It's like Sailor Moon.

Shou: Merlion (does an action which is I think is probably related to Merlion)

Nao: Super Mario.

Tora: Luigi.

All: (laugh)

Nao: *raises hands* Because... he like mushrooms!
