Alice Nine are facing their 9th anniversary this year. Celebrating this anniversary, they held their tour "9th Anniversary #1 "World's End Daybreak"". With it, they toured around Japan, and had their tour final on 2013/07/15 at Zepp Tokyo. Even though it was a hot summer day, many fans had gathered to the live house, and the excited voices of the guests could be heard through the hallways, goods booth and the floor itself. There were many flower buckets decorating the hallway, and there was also some sent to them by foreign fans. You could feel the warm feelings of the fans towards the members before the live itself had even started.
"Let's sing together. Do you know the lyrics?" after these words, a melody all fans of Alice Nine know, the intro of "ブループラネット / Blue Planet" started playing in the hall. The audience sang together with Shou's vocals. During the last part of the song, only the voices of the audience played in the hall. I believe the voices that did not fade at all before the very end showed the feelings of these 9 years the fans had towards the members they have been supporting.
In the mid-part of the live, Saga's strong bass line played in the hall as "ハイカラなる輪舞曲 / Haikara naru rinbukyoku" started. "Let's go crazy! Let's dance!" Shou shouted, and his voice made the crowd even more excited, filling the floor with hot enthusiasm. With the sudden rap, they showed a new side of Alice Nine, one that had not been shown up until now.
The last part of the main performance started with "shooting star", and during the song small bits of light reflecting from the mirror ball filled the hall like a night sky. As they combined heart-trending but beautiful lyrics and vocals to tender and encouraging melody, they created a whole world of their own. Without breaking this atmosphere, they moved on to "すべてへ / Subete he", that started with only Saga's piano and Shou's vocals. Nao's drums melted to the melody without breaking it. A strong voice that you could feel with your heart. I believe I was not the only one who was moved by Shou's vocal abilities.
Talking about being moved, the next song "Daybreak" was also one to take your breath away. "Put on your lights, let's create a starry sky together", with Shou's words, the audience put on their lights. The scenery from the 2nd floor was almost as a starry night sky in mid-winter. "World of Alice Nine", which the fans and members created together. I was moved by the strength of their bonds.
During the MC, Shou spoke those feelings out loud.
"Without lives, we would be empty." "This place where everyone comes to like this, is the place where we live."
During "the beautiful name", which was the last song of the encore, the starry sky filled the hall again after Shou's words, "If you can, please put on the lights". The melody of the piano, Shou's vocals, voices of the fans and the lights that filled the hall like stars - everything was so beautiful you could feel your heart being taken away by it.
The fans continued singing to the very end of the song. "World's End Daybreak, thank you very much", with the words of gratitude, the members put an end to the tour.
